The Microplastic Sampler Geesthacht Inert Microplastic Fractionator V3 is an innovative device for collecting microplastic particles in aquatic systems. It allows for the collection of all suspended solids with a size of ≥ 10 µm and utilizes a filtration cascade to fractionate particles by diameter. This device is crucial for standardizing methods for monitoring microplastics and helps improve fragmented data on microplastic pollution.
